Why does it say 140K ducati crash?

Anyway, looks like he is a rich faggot that was looking up the hill to make sure they were taping him, and was coming in too fast and panicked and dropped it.

from the description on youtube:
1198RS Superbike w 1098r frame for VIN plus side and upper fairings. Rider purchased both bikes to make the street legal race bike , $140,000 invested. From the rider " this is a 1198RS when I ride it on the street I put the street side and upper fairings for the lights and the front wheel I run on the street has stock rotors because they don't bite as hard as Superbike ones" "and yes just about every nut and bolt is in Ti as are the axel, handlebars, etc and the bike weight"
sounds like the rider was talking out of his ass.

IF - that story is believable, he would probably be a little bit better of a rider.

At least that is what I wish deep down

I hate to say it but I'm really glad that they didn't do an undertail exhaust for the 1199

It's completely unnecessary and just ads a lot of weight where it shouldn't be.
It looks fucking sweet on the 999 but I digress...

That said, if you're looking at the Versys, have you researched the V-Strom/DL650 at all? That's the ultimate blend right there.
I forgot about that one (it's so ugly)

My "list" at the moment, in order is:

Versys
WeeStrom
dr650
klr650

others in consideration:

wr250x
Tiger 800 & 800XC
Monster
Hypermotard
Scrambler
Street Triple
F800GS
