According to the News, he died at the scene, meaning he was alive after the hit, he didn't die on impact immediately.

Why whould the BMW driver fell bad? If he did nothing to cause the crash I wouldnt feel bad if I was him. Why would the BMW driver turn him self in because someone made a bad choice and or did not have the skill to keep the car on the road???

I have street raced many times. I know the limit of me and my car. The day he crashed it was wet and or raining, not a good choice. Thats what it comes down too, it was just a bad choice. BUT I dont think the BMW driver should pay for the EVO drivers bad choice. Yes they were both racing but one took it too far and made a bad "choice"

I have never been in a crash and I hope I dont. i try damn hard not to do dumb shit when its not safe. No matter, if we all drive with in our limits giving the weather we might all be around a little longer

Damn, that sucks. I leave my car in Fairfax everyday when I ride up with co-workers to DC. I likely have seen him driving around b/c I see alot of EVO's on 66/395/295.

R.I.P. bro.

On a side note, I don't see the BMW driver at fault whatsoever. They both knew street racing is both dangerous and illegal. Being as the BMW driver didn't ram him off the road or anything, I can't see how people would be against him. Granted, he could've stopped and gone back to see if he could help the other guy, but in a situation like that, you'd likely freak out and flee the scene as quickly as you could. Im sure the BMW driver feels terrrible about it now, but at the time, im sure the only thing going through his head was that something terrible just happened and that he had to get away from there as soon as possible to avoid HUGE consequences that could largely effect his life.

I would have stopped. Regardless of anything. I would have stopped. I wouldn't charge him with murder or anything though. If they do find him he shouldn't be charged with anything other than wreckless or something.

this still fucking sucks ass.

today was very hard. It was very nice to see so many people together and it was almost funny thinking about Dave taking pride in bringing so many people together.

Talking to Dave's mom was the most difficult thing to do. I could see the pain in her eyes and felt her pain when she hugged me.

RIP Dave. We miss you

Say the BMW was just plain speeding. He cruises past the EVO, the EVO wanted to play, so the EVO engaged and wrecked. So the BMW driver should be tried for manslaughter because he was speeding? How many of you speed on 495?

And why does everyone assume the BMW even knew the EVO got into an accident? Are you constantly watching everyone in your rear view making sure they get off the exit ramp safely?

Guilty until proven innocent with most of you guys.

So you were there and you know they were not racing? Every one of us on this forum could come up with a "what if" scenario. But as of right now, we're just goin with what the police give us. Maybe your scenario is right, only time will tell.

Just WOW, i dont think the impact killed him, it looks like the motor and steering column tried to jump out the way of the tree and into the driver's seat with him. That sux, but live by the sword and you will die by it.
