want to drop a V8 in my yota
i have a 1992 toyota pickup, it has the 22RE 4 cylinder motor in it, im thinking about getting a V8 installed, but iono what is a good motor for that type of swap and what else i will need for the swap, any advice from people that have done this swap?

seen a few people in the 757 with sbc's in them. as long as you can get all the pulleys and shit to clear and the mounts done right shouldn't be a problem. you going FI or carb?

yea i was lookin at a sbc 350 but dont you need some special kit to get it in the yota?, and also i might need help findin one if anyone knows where i can get a good one

a few years ago, back in college, (UMaine) there was a guy with a Ford 302 in one. It was all done up for offroading in the snow n' stuff.. it was pretty sweet though.. there was a lot of custom work into it though so it couldn't have been cheap...

ive got 4wd 5 speed tranny, anyone know about the sbc 350 swap, i heard all u need is this kit but iono what its called or anything, or even if anyone around here has that motor would be helpful. but in reference to the ford 302, im not looking for anything super fancy custom work wise, jus as simple a swap as i can get

Give advance adapters a call. They make a kit and so do a few other people.
Locally I know Tim http://www.shakerbuilt.com/ has done a few and Larry at cornfed suspension has one in his truck.
