Do any recycling places in Roanoke pay for cans?
With the nice weather we've been having I'm cleaning out the garage, and I have a ton of aluminum cans (we drink a lot of soda). If anyone does pay for cans, it's probably by the pound, which probably won't be a lot of money, but money is money
I did a search on google and didn't find much. Gonna check the yellow pages and make a few calls, just figured I'd check here and see if anyone knew of a place. Thanks!

I know a couple years ago Hedge would pay for cans (not much, but better than just throwing them away). If I recall correctly, though, We took a truck full down there, and got just about enough to cover our gas. We just put ours out with the recycling that the city picks up.
I keep thinking of that Seinfeld episode. Check the yellow pages for local aluminum scrap metal yards, they pay by the pound (obviously). There is one local here in Richmond. Don't take them across the border to a place that pays money for the "deposit" as it's illegal and you can get fined if caught.
