can synthetic oil drop oil pressure?

Default can synthetic oil drop oil pressure?

i run castrol 10w30 full syn and i just installed my oil pressure. it seems to run a little low. will dino oil increase my oil pressure, thanks

Pressure can vary, yes. It usually varies more from brand to brand though for the same weight vs. whether it is synthetic or not. If you are using the recommended weight of oil for your engine, don't be overly concerned if the pressure is only a tiny bit off. The gauge might be a little bit off also, it happens.
