If you haven't heard yet.... Well VIR is not on the list for the AMA Pro race schedule this year. That shit sucks ass !!!!
WERA is still schedule to have an event if anyone is still interested.

Re: No AMA Races
i read that inside sources last week said that VIR and AMA were in talks now to possibly bring the even back since they lost Brainerd and aren't doing two Laguna rounds... i really hope they bring it back its too much fun, but either way I'll see the AMA race at Laguna along with Moto GP anyways in july , but i'd much rather see them at our home track

Re: No AMA Races
It is pretty much definite that AMA will not come to VIR, although this has nothing to do with Dragonsridge. Apparently, VIR has lost money the past few years with the AMA races. That is the reason we may not get to see the races on our home track this year. There are not any formal arrangements between Dragonsridge and AMA as of yet. However, the track is being designed by Wilson Motorsports who designed Barber and many other road racing courses. So let's hope.

Elena whats up... whose screen name is that?
Yea I heard VIR is the lowest paying venue out of all the tracks in the AMA schedule, but everyone still seems to agree its one of the nicest so I really hope it comes back, or dragonsridge hurries up and gets finished, we drove out there to check it out and it was still just an unleveled field
