jdm d15b - the car only surges when the throttle is cracked not when pumped, only when trying to give it a little gas.

-iac is bypassed, sensor plugged in. does not affect idle, only on initial start when cold. throws cel #14 - iac
-no vaccum leaks
-tps is good, checked with multimeter and adjusted to specs

i do not think there is a fitv sensor, i have an extra plug that looks like the iac one. i need help, cannot think of anything else to check for. someone has to know whats going on.

Check your O2 sensor i had the same problem and thats what it was.

 

checked o2 and it needed to be replaced. bought a new one, but the problem is still there. bump........need this resolved, the car feels like its going to fall apart (shaking and vibrating) when it hits this rpm range.

limp mode??? have you flashed your ecu lately?


either disconnect the negative on the battery, or take out the hazzard fuse from under the hood?
