240sx High/bouncing idle
my 1991 nissan 240sx has a rediculously high idle, it sits at 2k at starup and after a while of running the idle will start to bounce from 1500 to 200 and do that till it can't recover anymre and then shut off. the only difficulty i have had with the car was a bad water pump that was replaced. i have tried unpluging the MAF while the car was running and aiting for it to shut off but it jsut kept running so i shot it off, re attached, and alas no luck.
edit: and my gas mileage has dropped like crazy also, im getting like 18mpg.

no it has been doing it since before, the coolant sysem is fine and was bled, holds a constant temp.
