so the map sensor and intake air is the code 5 and one? ill check them out

 

yeah the five wuick blinks is code 5 whiich is map and the slow one blink is 10 whicih is iat i dont know 6 you can google it if you want it should tell you

aight i need someone that knows something about either looking at the wiring or coming to check these codes out, my car runs it just wont idle, as soon as i let off the gas it cuts off. let me know whats up thanks.

ok i just went and checked my ecu, these are the codes.....

3. MAP sensor
5. MAP sensor
6. ECT (engine coolant temperature), i dont have a plug for it
10. IAT sensor (Intake Air Temperature)
14. IAC Valve (Idle Air Control)

im sure these are the reasons for it not ideling right? i need some help here i guess i need a map sensor.....someone help me out.

 

do you have the vacs to the map right? The iac is probably dead that would make it idle like shit but as far as it cutting off iam sure that is the map iself or the vacs are off

 

its on the throttle body, i just have it plugged in.

 

i was assuming you had an ef with the b18a1 with the map on the firewall and the vac canisters under it
