I like Aldo's, but Il Giardino is better. Melting Pot is a load of shit and a waste of money. Ruth Chris is extrememly overpriced. Va beach has no good seafood restaurants which for beach town, is a joke.

Depending on the chef you get, Trellis in Williamsburg is good. Brutti's in P-town is a good place as well. There's a new place, open less than a month, that has the best ambiance of any place in this area. Its called Village Tavern in Carrollton and you will not be disappointed by this place. For seafood, I'll only go or take someone to Bennett's Creek Marina.

For overall experience and the best food around, the Smithfield Inn has every place beat. If you want a good meal, best drinks, and do not want to be disappointed go here.
Smithfied Inn, amazing, wonderful food, atmosphere and after dinner take a walk thru historic Smithfield, plenty of spots to stop for a kiss.

He was right on at least one of those restraunts. Baker's Crust is great. Their tomato soup in the bread bowl is awesome.

Ditto. I generally don't go to chain restaurants, but Baker's Crust is an exception. I go to the Carytown one in Richmond.

(Not for a date though.)

DITTO...Laskin just hasnt compared to norfolk the 5 times ive been there. Im sadly done trying that place even though its 2 min from my house.

Oh, and we will be presenting a new menu very soon.
That's all fine and good, but I go to the one in Norfolk, so is it going to be shitty now?
