I guess we're just going to continue to argue ourselves in circles here. There is no way that you guys are going to convince me without proof that any other automobile manufacturer has done anything to this scale. You don't seem to know what I'm talking about because for some reason you keep giving links and making statements about isolated incedents that are all but insignificant compared to what Ford continues to do.

And I guess there's no convincing you that Ford is one of the most unscrupulous companies of our time. And that's the phrase that set everyone off in the first place, right?

So until someone brings something new to the table I'm done with this thread, which, by the way, was originally about Ford losing millions and millions and millions and millions and millions of dollars every few months and eventually becoming a burden on the US... not about their apparent hard-on for killing their customers.

Please provide proof they are continuing to kill people and no other company is. That's right, you can't. Aren't your three instances just isolated incedents? Your basing your hate off three vehicles if I read you correctly. And how are these "isolated incedents" any different than what you desribed? For I will agree they have gotten worse in this age, but can't you see how much good was done before the current leaders took over?

GM is also losing millions. The UAW is to blame for most of this and your hatred, not Ford.

 

Crown Vics, particurlarly Intercepors, are blowing up right now. Ford knew about, Ford isn't fixing it.

There isn't solid proof of it on the internet until court transcripts are available. That's why I hadn't brought it up. But give it some time. They're still killing folks. It's what they do.

And don't worry, I've got plenty of hate for the UAW. But that's a different kind of hate. I don't hate Ford for losing money. I'm GLAD they're losing money. I hate them for killing people over and over and over.

Ford is offering shields, that's a fix. Granted they aren't recalling them all and fixing them, but there is a fix.

This leads to me my other point. DON"T BUY THEM. If there are known issues/problems with a vehicle, would you buy it? I know damn sure I wouldn't and others either with common sense. I'm sure if sales of the cars plummeted, they would find a way to ensure they sales picked up, which might include making it safer. Until then, Ford can rest assurded those lacking common sense will keep them in business.

Show me a Lincoln version of the F-150. I was talking about full-size truck sales, not SUV.

And I would love for you to find the VERY minute differences between a GMC 1500-3500 and a Chevy 1500-3500 besides the badging. Yeah, back in the day the GMC line was mostly for fleet trucks and commercial sales, but now they are just a slightly cheaper version of the exact same truck. Honestly, noone differentiates buying a GMC from a Chevy, so I can't imagine why one wouldn't group them together in sales (excluding the trucks sold to the gov't and companies as fleet trucks of course, strictly consumer sales)
