I'm glad too.
I truly do not understand why this guy didn't turn the gun on himself when he had a chance. I certainly would have. Once you made the mistake of pulling a trigger at an officer, it's over for you.
He won't have another chance now.

1: Why kill someone, to teach others killing is wrong?
2: Who are we to take ANYONES life unless it's defending ourselves? If we respect life enough to determine it's the most serious of crimes... we should respect life not to take willingly take it.
See top part of sig.
Worst... perhaps... but there's even more:

1. Because some people feel they have the right to judge and make those decisions. I can't argue one way or the other..
2. You reep what you sow.. it's a pretty even trade to me.. you kill someone in cold blooded murder, you just might receive the same.. Whats the difference between the people taking action into their own hands like what would have been done in the past, and the legal system? (except much more time/money)
In some cases, like just complete NUT cases/psycho's/mass killers etc. I think the death penalty is a good idea, if not only to satisfy the public.
Where are all the criminal justice majors!??!!?

You reep what you sow... where did the eye for an eye idea even come from? The old testament; most of America claims to be "Christian"... Jesus taught love, forgiveness, and understanding.
As far as people "taking things into their own hands in the past"... I never said that was right either... I'd describe that is irresponsible and an injustice.
