saw the white mustang on 495, saw the marked camaro's on ffx cty pkwy, saw the 3-series in arlington, oh yes, lets not forget the unmarked yukon, and of course, the 69 camaro. our county sucks.

oh yes, and for all that hullabaloo about state provided tracks, come on, thats ludicrous. don't bitch when u get got by the undercovers, its just a trick. very much like us, cops are NOT all idiots. of course they know that to the trained eye, their cars stick out like sore thumbs, so why would they always let that element of surprise go so easily? if anything, its been a long time coming for this sort of thing to happen. my boy got pulled over by an undercover late model prelude. the REAL cops have cars that look like everyday ppl cars, not all crown vics, unmarked or not, they know everyone slows down when they see crown vics or even mercurys that look like crown vics. so, fairfax county wins. we lose. end of story.

I wonder what the cost is to run radar from helicopter per hour? Think about. There are at least 2 people in the copter...pilot (pay him) radar (pay him) fuel for the helicopter unit on the ground (pay him) car fuel. All to do what one guy can do on the ground.
Its not that fucking hard to run radar. You can catch someone speeding pretty much anywhere you want. They dont do that air shit back in Illinois. Va is a very shady state on more than one account.

I dont like the shady unmarked car shit just as much as the next guy but if you have a problem about it then stop speeding. Its a simple concept. If you don't want to get pulled then dont speed. Simple.

Or you could always make an investment in a Valentine 1 or Bell.

I've witnessed a helicopter pacing a car on I-66 before. The bird was REALLY low and it was running just behind the car.
