Can they find out where you live by your tags??? Or do they have to follow you home to find out where you live?

I just ordered my personal tags and i just dont want my car stolen

 

Its always easier to tail a car with personal tags. It also easier to remember a car with personal tags if the driver of that car does something he or she isn't supposed to do.

 

take a piece of tape and put it over your VIN number by your windshield. That way, if they do follow you home, and have somebody shady working at the dealer to get keys, it will take them a little longer, possibly make a little more noise, to help alert you.

Unless they have law enforcement or DMV hook ups its almost impossible for them to run your plates.

i suggest a good alarm that uses another battery and park infront of your house where you can see your car, thats what i do. havn't had a problem ever. then again if you got something someone else wants then it really doesnt matter what security precautions you take. they will find a way to get it.
