Default 95 civic ex just stops running

i have a 95 ex civic"d16z6"..Its bone stock and has 105k on it.When i got the car the people said that you could only drive it for short periods and it would cut off. They said that it was taken somewhere and they were told it was the dizzy.I have been driving it for like 4 days until tonight. It died on me,but if you wait a few mins it will run agian, some other guy said it was fuel relay,But when it does it the radio and clock cut off and when the car will start they come back on..any suggestions? thanks in advance

I agree with the dizzy theory. Had the same problem. It over heats inside, burning up the ICM. Cheaper to replace the whole thing....

This doesn't happen to all 95' Civics does it? Because my brother drives the same model, it just has a different engine.

I think its a Honda dizzy issue. Most are only rated for 250 degrees, and my after market one is rated at 350...
