bridge myth about cops
ive always heard that on a bridge, for instance the monitor merrimac, with that slim of a shoulder than cops donnot sit on the sides of them, or more so they cant. Last nighton my to newport news there was a cop sitting on the side ?? And on my way back i saw him on the same side that i had came to newport news on with a car pulled over.
Am i the only one who think that is dangerous ? and is that legal for a cop to do

Police officers have to obey laws also. The only time they can break them is in emergencies.
I guess they can even if it's dangerous. It's basically the same as sitting in the emergency lane on the side of the highway.

One day, off duty yet in uniform, my girlfriends father was speeding and got a ticket. And once his partner got a drunk in public ticket in the same area he patrolled earlier that day.
I hear a bunch of funny stuff around those guys.

He is not suppose to sit on the shoulder because like it was said it does create more of a hazzard but who is going to say anything. I got pulled over by a trooper that was unmarked and had his hazards on. He gave me a ticket on 64 for going 10 over.
