::testing waters:: 02 Yamaha R6 - with mods - Low Miles!
just as a quick reply.... I had to put a price... hence over shooting the price.
next off... it is a NEW tire, less then 300 miles on it. once again, reasoning for the "chicken strips"
I was also told by the guy i bought it from about the jet kit being a stg3. I really dont know. When I took it to my local cycle shop, they looked it over, and at which point i asked about the stroker kit. They said because of the lack of room in a 600cc motor (0.6 ltr motor) you can only get so much outta it. max of 45cc.
Now.... Last but seriously NOT least... I said serious inquires only. It is a "TESTING WATERS" ad... so plz no more bullsh*t of knocking the price that isnt even my asking price. I coud change it to $600.00 instead of $6000.00, but then I'd get shit about that too.
So learn to read ppl's ads before replyin your little hearts out.

45cc's spread over 4 pistons is 11.25cc's per piston, so even a minute bore stroke job would put it over 45cc's of difference in displacement.
could it be a bored motor? possibly. could it really be a bored/stroked motor with only 45cc of extra displacement? no, that's not physically possible with any available parts out on the market.
i'm not trying to knock your bike. i only brought it up because i see alot of people trying to sell bikes that supposedly have internal motor work, that without tearing the motor down, there is no real way of knowing if anything has been done internally. thats why i asked if you had reciepts for the parts/labor that went into the "bore and stroke" job. that's not exactly a cheap job to do, and alot of machine work is involved in it. there'd have to be reciepts somewhere.
oh, and btw, your clutch lever is bent
