Working on installing my new turbo manifold, and this part is getting in the way. I THINK it's the "charcoal canister" but I'm not sure.



Can I just bypass the canister and run just straight tubing or no?

On a second note, anyone in the VA Beach area want to come over and mock up / make a downpipe for me, I doubt mine will fit, I'll try in a little bit now that I've got all the right parts

 

I have a DP that you might be able to get some measurements on. You could also try contacting Greaser, since he made it for me.

 

Alright, the issue with my manifold is that with the old manifold, the flange for the turbo was almost parallel to the manifold, this new one on the otherhand is at a slightly bigger angle and the DP doesn't seem to want to fit for me >_< You think he'd be willing to come out to my house since I can't drive anywhere?

Relocate or eliminate the oil catch can? And any suggestions on where / how to do it.



It's going to have to fit around the DP I need to get fab'd, so I'm lacking ideas right now.

 

run a straight hose to the t on the valve cover. then on the other end of the t, run it to a catch can.

he's saying relocate the catch can. you can buy one almost anywhere. it's just a hose going to the valve cover to the catch can, making a loop.
