Do you have a MAF or a MAP sensor in your car? If you have a MAP it could be bad.

Yes, but he said "tough to turn" which means a loose belt. When the belt slips it causes power steering to stop working momentarily.

Ya retightend the tension yesterday, it definitely got better. But still squealing like a pig if turned 30 degrees or more. I don't have any 1/2" drive socket extensions so I've been lifting the tensioner by hand..

In the how-to the guy uses a 4" & a 10" drive socket extension to get the leverage needed for the right tension, I guess that's my problem right there, either that or I'll get a friend to muscle it to the right tension

Ya I just had to get all the air bubbles out, and it was a little low anyways.

Good

That was the problem with a Prelude an old friend of mine had.. I told him to flush the system, he spent dough ($$$$) trying to replace just about everything else.

Ah, be happy no worries. Tried to use the regular extensioners but had better results using the wheel lug wrench handle Only squeals at the futhermost of each end of the wheel, so I'll settle for that now. But new serpentine and p\s belts in a month just for added security.

Thanks all.
