Code for Honda Radios?!?!?
I just recently bought a 2000 honda civic Si and accidently left the lights on. When i came back to my car that day the battery was dead and when i jump started my car the radio wouldn't work and came up with a message telling me to enter a 4 digit code. Does anyone know a way to get around this becuase I don't have the code and neither does the previous owner? I have tried calling the dealership and getting the code with my VIN # but that didn't work either. Plz help
on some models you can flash the code on the screen.
by holding the like 1&5 button and turning the key on or something like that. and it flashes to sets of numbers.
but the easier way is to remove the radio and give honda the serial number. and they can give you the code.
then just write it somewhere. even on the radio itself. so when you pull it out again its there.
but then if it gets stolen. anyone can use it.

duh..people dont steal stock radios
remove the radio take the serial number and model number and take that to the dealer. make sure you have your registration and license and they can give you the code for the radio. I have to do this all the time (i work for honda) but without proof of ownership your screwed.
