need to borrow wheels
you should have started planning sooner, for this, even if you prove that your calibration is off, the judge might want to see that you got the problem fixed "that way it wont happen again" do some research i dont know about toyotas, but on fords and jeeps you can replace the speedometer gear with a new one with less or more teeth, i tried going that route with my jeep, but my lawyer told me to not even bother because at 96 miles an hour i knew damn well i was speeding, anyways, the best way to approach it, is get it callibrated with the 35's, and buy the proper speedo gear to fix it, then get it callibrated again that way you can show the judge that your speedo was off, you got the part that fixed it, and then got it recalibrated to make sure it was right...my two cents
I work at a shop so I can get reciepts for everything. So that's not an issue. And no toyota doesn't sell diff speedo gears cause that's the first thing I checked. The only way I can say I got it fixed is that I regeared the truck or I took the lift off. I know exactly how these thing s go bro. The truck is new to me bought in august. I am only fighting 7mph over not some 31 mph over lol.
I'm not seeing how the LIFT is causing your speedo to be off? I'm guessing you knew that you were speeding, but you're trying to weasel out of it now? Not blaming you, just asking...
Try this out...
