Great, but I will once again reference your original bullshit list.

You know absolutely nothing about the heads on an LSX motor. I have a set of AFR's their smallest port the 205cc and yet they flow over 300cfm on their own without touching them, they can be ported to as high as 350cfm. They have a bigger brother known as the 225, they can go as high as 380 with they proper porting. But if money is no object by all means slap down the dollars for a set of C5R heads which can be ported (including port shape) to anything you want and you can choose the valve angle that you want, as long as you got the spread for the custom intake to be fabricated.

Where? In your dream world?... Comeback when you actually know something about the motor.
Ok, let's recap what I have said.

1. Ford made multiple production mustangs that had more power and ran better times than any camarobird sold by gm. I don't care if it had a blower or not it isn't my fault gm didn't put one on the lsx.

2. In a money is no object race car the ford windsor and non lsx sbc have both ran better times than any lsx car and currently have better aftermarket parts available.

I'm not sure what dream world you are talking about because everything I said is true. The only point I wanted to make in this thread was since he was building a race motor I just thought it should be brought up that with the current aftermarket the windsor and non lsx sbc have better parts available.

Debate all you want guys, that's cool, but the next person to toss out a "you're an idiot" type comment isn't going to make me happy and I don't think you guys think it's very much fun around here when I'm not happy.

They made 2 production cars after the LS1 stopped being made. 1 of those cars make around the same rwhp with a blower than a NA LS1 with a few bolt ons. That really isnt saying much.

I'm not sure what dream world you are talking about because everything I said is true.
True? You must have forgotten about the 4 bolt main mistake and no heads for the LS1 comment.

Ok I was wrong about the mains, big deal, and I never said there were NO heads for the engine. I said the really really big heads like the little chief and bluethunder 4.3 weren't there for the lsx YET.

It may not be saying much but more from the factory is more period. For what it is worth to the best of my knowledge and I don't closely follow these things a ford modular powered car has ran a better slip than any lsx powered car.

From 98-02 ford never produced a Mustang that could make more power or run better times than a "Camarobird" as you put it. You have dated the arguement by picking a platform that is no longer made. We all know that if that platform existed today it would still have a more powerful engine stock than any of the the current cars you picked in that orignal list. The LS7 for example makes more power than any of the three you listed and it is NA, and would most likely been installed in a special edition "Camarobird". You have drawn a comparison between two vehicles that are not made during the same time period. Although I will point out that the 03 Cobra may have made more power it certainly was not any faster being that it was an over weight turd! That is a fact....................

Wrong again, you keep skirting the issue here again, the C5R parts that I have brought up multiple times, you have no rebuttal to it, because you have no clue about it. It is a proven racing motor and Ford has yet to come up with an answer to its domination. This is a fact......................

Wrong again, You stated that there does not currently exist a set of heads that can match or exceed the flow numbers of some Ford or SBC heads, I pointed out that there does, but it requires money in order to use them. Aftermarket has been very strong for LSX engines and continues to improve with the factory making changes to the motor, making it that much better. The parts are just as good if not better for the LSX series of motors, and they will continue to get better. I run a LSX race motor, for its displacement it puts down more power than any SBC or Ford motor of equivelant size, and yet I can go bigger on the cam and go larger on the ports make even more power.

You are wrong about the heads also........ C5R..... and I will point out a few others not mentioned in this thread..... TEA.....ETP (11 degree heads)......DART Racing (a direct copy of the C5R head)....and of course the big AFRs.......

Not NA, we are just now getting the power adder kits that have been available to the modular motor for years. I know for a fact that no Mod motor has ran faster NA than an LSX, nor have they gone faster on the gas either. Great the mod motor has made faster passes on blowers and turbos, but if we wanted such an item for an LSX it had to be custom made. Within the last two years we have finally gotten the options of big turbo setups and let me tell ya, they are flying....................It is much easier to develope a power adder in the aftermarket world when the car already had a power adder to begin with.

Hahaha not faster my ass. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z13jfEnRwb8&NR what is that a 12 second quartermile, no stock new edge Transam/Camaro ever ran that factory, EVER. Also you said overweight turd look that the WS6 curb weight, if anything that is a overweight turd, where is the weight, its not DOHC and there is no IRS?

Curb Weight : 3495-3517 lbs(coupe), 3605-3627 lbs(convertible)

serious or joking? it didn't go 12.0, it went 12 something... and most mags put them in the low 13s, just like a run of the mill LS1 car.

but then again most of those things can run 10s rite?

so you're telling us the cobra coupe is heavier than the convertible WS6, and that all the extra boat anchors (like IRS which gets removed by people making power anyway) makes that weight worth it?
