I just built a D16Z6 <yeah I know, it's a D and no turbo> for my 94 VX 3dr hatch,, while calling the yards for an EX trans I was told that the coupe and sedan transmission are not the same.. Anyone know anything about this?

 

get a newer ex tranny...96-00 they have better shift forks made of steel instead of the older units having aluminum shift forks. and yes the computer says they are different but they have the same ratios and either will work just fine. get a newer tranny though.....youll be glad you did. (96-00)
