City Center in Oyster Point.
$600/month with utilities, cable and power are extra.
This is my frist time in an apartment setting, so I can't really give a good description, except that I'm happy where I am, no problems with management and the neighbors pretty much keep to themselves. Parking isn't a problem at all, but the "gated" parking lot can be quite a fiasco at sometimes.

I can vouch for that place being fucking sweet, the facilities they had there when it first opened up and I went over to Thomas's.... i was very impressed

Harbours resident here as well. Spent a year in a 1 bedroom and now I'm headed to a 2 bedroom in January. I've never had any issues although it seems like rent might be a tad high.

City Center in Oyster Point is a pretty nice place to live. Some of their apartments have covered parking and they also offer extra storage rooms if need be. Only issue with City Center is the prices are going ^ due to City Center development.

There is a pretty sweet apartment complex off Magruder called the Belmont or something close to this name. I would have signed up with them, but they have a 35lb pet weight limit (all pets combined). I have a Shepherd mix and my wife has a cocker spaniel, so this place was out of the question.

If you're headed towards Hampton, there are plenty of nice apartments on Magruder and close to Executive.

I have a two master bedroom town house to myself and I only pay 900/mo out at great neck right off va beach blvd. I'm glad I got it because I love having a yard and a drive way. I don't have to worry about parking lots being full or certain numbered parking spaces.

Do not rent an apartment. I just moved out of an apartment a few months ago into my house and I love it. You will pay a little more, but you get so much more with it.

Never living in an apartment again. I was living in one for 2 years. And that is enough for me.

Yeah I just found this out while I was at work today. I believe one of my co-workers says he only plays like 950-1000 a month in Kiln Creek for a 3 bedroom.

Signature Place in Hampton is pretty nice. It's a quiet community with a few gear heads living there. Rent is a lil more but is worth it. About $1000 a month for about 1000 sq. ft. 2bed/2bath. Garages rent for $95 a month. Other ammenities are, hot tub, pool, sauna, tennis courts, court yard, weight room, etc. Management is very courtious as well and seem to be on top of maintenance as well. So far we have not had any crime.

Hampton Center, which is around the corner, is similar priced but their attitude SUCKS. The kept delaying us with moving in and are terrible with customer service. We also put $100 hold on the apartment we wanted but when we decided to go to another apartment, they considered it a deposit and would not refund us our money.
