I'm asking for a stronger shifter, rear shocks, and maybe bmx bar kit for christmas. Anyone got any of this for sale or know where to get it cheap?

the bmx bar kit is a must for anyone over 4 foot tall. lots of places sell em. mine was a tbr kit. i think cycle gear has one in stock, but probably expensive to buy from them. you can get i-shocks on ebay for decent prices, or you can just get a stiffer spring for the stock shock to keep it from sagging so much when you sit on it. also makes wheelies easier with a stiffer shock/spring. 50stunt.com sell a longer, stronger shifter that has a hinged shift peg. i bent the hell out of mine a few times, and just bent it back, never had it break on me.

personally, i'd go with a bmx bar kit, and get the stiffer shock spring, and the +1 fork legs and stiffer springs with delrin bushings for the front (same combo bustadust is running on his front end) that ought to make it pretty bulletproof, unless you smack a curb or something at a decent speed.

man, all these people buying 50's, gonna make me have to get serious about getting another one

skrooz, tried what you said with shifting up, reving, then letting down and it will definetly bring up the front real fast and smooth. I like that better then just giving it gas and shifting hard.

I still can't ride a wheelie, I can only pop it up. Yaybeer87 can do small endos.

just do what skrooz told me to do...stand in place with the bike standing still, sit on the rear end part of the seat, and floor it and it will wheelie up..and try to ride it with the feet barely touchin the ground(sort of like a slidin motion)

yeah, you'll get a better feel of how high the bike needs to be to balance that way. once you get used to that, you can do the whole shift thing like i was talking about with your feet on the pegs, just remember, cover the back brake
