1998 Twin Turbo Supra, Whats a good price?
always seemed rediculous to me that people would pay so much for those things. who'd have thought 6 years ago that a movie would turn cars that should only cost $10k into $45,000 cars.
There are a lot of factors that helped me determine the price I would pay when it came to purchasing my 98 Supra....
1. Is it stock, modified, or was modified and now back to stock?
2. Is it auto or manual?
3. What color is it the exterior/interior?
4. What is the history of the car, why does it only have 21,000 miles and was it garaged during the 9 years of its life?
5. Do you have all the paperwork for the car since day one?
6. "Good Condition" does not sound good when it comes to a Supra, so what is wrong with it?
7. What type of climate was it driven in?
8. Does it still have the original brakes and battery?
9. What is the condition of the interior, are the leather seats stained/dirty (can be seen easier on tan interior) and has anyone ever smoke in the car?
10. Is the engine bay clean and does it have all original belts/hoses?
If all of the above questions have the appropriate answers that someone looking for this type of collector car is comfortable with, $35,000-$45,000 should be the asking range.

Here is an idea... Pay to have it appraised by a company that specializes in custom cars. That is if it is in very good to excellent condition with a clean record and you want top dollar.
Update!
It has 21,XXX miles, completely stock, white exterior, flawless black interior, 6 speed manual, and removable hard top. Car looks brand new!
Will have some pictures by Tuesday now. I figured I would ask before I put some ridiculous amount on here!
Thanks
They made 68 supras with super white that year
