Default explanation of B series motors

so im sorta new to new to to honda i usally work on V-8s so i really have no clue wat the difference in a b18 or a b16 and which ones will fit in a CRX the car im lookin to get and build it up so any help would be greatly apprieciated thx

either one will fit. there are several variations to both, try honda-tech.com, theyt should have all the info you need.

the difference (to answer your question) is displacement... thats the short version. the K20 recommendation would be my choice, but thats a money issue... and if you have it... that would be the way to go. if B-series is where your budget/resources lie... then the B18 is where you want to go with it... or even consider a B20 VTEC if youre considering an all motor set up. i guess the question is.... what are your goals?

V8 to 4Cyl hondas......
one third the torque, half the horse power, twice the revs.
Oh and sideways engines......

Your in for a steep learning curve.
But Honda-tech is your site to learn.

i dont want a N/A motor i want a turbo and my price range all depends on how much the car is goin to cost
