for the last few weeks i've been seeing a bright orange MX-6 going by my work that has the most ungodly loud supercharger i've ever heard.never seen him really get on it,so i can't say if it looks fast or not.smokes a lot and seems to break up really bad just randomly.
anybody know what the deal is with this car?i mean,the blower is Top Fuel car loud.been meaning to post about it for a couple weeks,but just now thought about it.
yes,it's Christmas Eve and i'm bored.

Lol... I think I made a thread making fun of this guy a while ago... EVERYWHERE he goes, he backs into parking spaces... and it's not like you can miss that fugly turd.

I put my money on it's STILL slow, even with the blower... Why dump money into an mx-6???

Bright orange, body kit, and big wing, something you'd see orbiting the earth possibly?

I agree, why use the MX6 as powerplant for building up the motor (I could be wrong..?), invest in something different perhaps? Wonder what its laying down, woulda been better turbo'd than SC'd...

 

It's hard to imagine there are two bright orange/tangerine MX6's.... BUT... I think they are two different cars too.

As far as I'm aware of, the one I was referencing is not supercharged. If it is, I have not heard it.

 

i'm not sure this is the same car here...i don't think the car i'm talking about has a wang...but it could.i'll have to look at Chuckle's shop when i go by next time-i live very close to there,so i drive by it all the time.
regardless of it's exterior appearance,you'd notice the blower noises if this car were running.if this car drove by you and didn't sound like a huge vacuum cleaner,it wasn't the car i'm talking about.

I'm interested to find out more about the one you've seen... I'd like to hear it, if for no other reason than the novelty of hearing an MX-6 that sounds fast.

 

haha yeah no kidding. Must be a different one. The one im speaking of, I believe, is bright orange with some lime green accents - I could be wrong...But it looks.........unique, in a very gaudy and pointless way..

 

I know the one you're talking about. I say it at the latest Salem auto-x. The supercharger is super loud and the thing is pretty damn fast but ugly as sin. It sounds like the bearings in the S/C are about to give and blow up the engine. His driving was very erratic with lots of wheelspin.
