Calm down kids.
factory glass has about a 98% light transmission, so take that into account before tinting. Or, before you have your car tinted, go by a precinct and have them throw a light meter on the factory glass.

for example you don't like the sun, so you tint your windows,

i love my NC plate lol it sucks on the timing of the ticket for sure.
a couple weeks ago i thought for sure i was getting an exhaust ticket. cop stopped next me two lanes away and 4 car lengths behind the car to his front, rolled down his passenger window to listen to my car, saw my NC plate when the light turned green and went on with his bad self. this was right by the springfield mall. if i had to guess my exhaust is at least at ~100 decibels at 2k rpm.
