Honestly, I don't know shit about components of mountain bikes. I can build them and tune them up, but I've never ridden them and see how good the components are.

Ironhorse bikes are going to come with a lot of Suntour, or low end Shimano parts on them. They are mostly a department store bike company these days, selling out of places like Sports Authority. It got good reviews though.

lol. Actually, I'm not a mechanic. I'm a bike builder. I put bikes together out of the box. That's all I do all day at work. I'm quitting as soon as I find a better job.

Yeah, thats what I had thought. For the price, the bike sounds like a good deal for beginners.
