actually....have taken my 03 s2k to chicago a couple times, and drove back my 06 s2k from chicago after i bought it....and its an awesome road trip car, i love it.....i'm 6'0", 225 lbs. but yes, the z definitley has some more room in it.
Yeah I've taken mine on some long road trips and used to commute over an hour each way to work in it. It's small but VERY comfortable inside. If you have great seats and a well laid out interior, you don't need much room to move around.
That would explain it, then. I test drove several '03s (mostly Track and Touring) and they were all pretty choppy. And even the smallest imperfections in the road would crack all trough the cabin. Good to know they fixed it.
I owned an S2000 for over 80k miles. I test drove a 350Z a couple times with the thought of trading the S2000 for one. I didn't. In my opinion, the 350Z is an easier to drive and easier to live with on a daily basis. However, it is nowhere near as fun to drive as an S2000. It's also the best sounding 4 cylinder in the world. Period.
Mister twos are a great alternative if you're on a budget. The chassis dynamics simply aren't up to par with the other two though. Nothing against an MR2, it's just an older design. They are GREAT tuner cars though and can be made to hang with and beat the other two for far less money. They're fucking beautiful too when done up right.
Sounds like a crotch rocket to me. SRT4 or WRX FTW.
Never been in any of the cars. S2k looks in the best imo.
I drove my S2K to San Antonio Texas and it was not that uncomfortable. I mean any car is uncomfortable after 12 hours.
I need to have 6 inches cut out of my femur to even fit in your car. It's still fun as shit to drive though, regardless if I can't release the clutch all the way.
