Insurace company tryin to dick me over...
well i've run a few body shops for a few years now, and this is usually what happens with insurance claims. if supplemental estimates were filed to the insurance company from the shop of repair, then the insurance company is supposed to extend the rental car following the additional days of repair that are required to finish the job. remember, the insurance appraiser is the one that didnt give a correct estimatem, which is why the number of days of repair is off.
about the oem and aftermarket parts. there's no such thing as an aftermarket radiator support ..or at least, non that i've ever dealth with. aftermarket replacement parts usually are just body panels. as for customers that i've dealt with that only want oem parts ..thats gonna be on you. most of the time if you give the insurance company a hard enough time they'll give you what you want ..you just got to nag and keep asking for it. using oem parts is better for everyone ..except for the person thats paying for it. they're better quality and a lot easier to install so its easier on the body tech fixing your car.
also if the shop has already gotten far enough into the job, and then they decide its a total they'll have to fix it ..because its too far in to pull out now. but if they just tore down the car and did the supplement then your car will probably total. good luck to you.

Thank you all for your input. My car was finally totaled today after speaking w/ the supervisor of the claim adjuster. They will be contacting me tomorrow to issue me a check for the car. Again, thank you all.
