Default Honda: Re-Badging

I want to remove my Acura badges and replace them with some Honda badges on the hood and hatch of my Integra. The problem I am having is finding the right adhesive to use for this project. I'd like to use what the factory used to put the Acura ones on in the first place.

The other issue is finding an adhesive to adhere an emblem on my vinyl dashboard. This is a huge problem. I think the cleanser and finish I use for my vinyl dash would repel anything I try to stick to it.. and anything that has harsh chemicals will more than likely ruin the vinyl.

Google has presented very little help in this area.. searching for something so specific on the message boards (not just VADriven) is almost pointless. Maybe I'm using the wrong keyowrds.. I have no idea.

If anyone on here knows of something please post it up so all can see and use this information

Thanks,
Trevor

I've already tried 3 types of 3M tape for the dash.. the badge fell right off. I'd like to use somsthing that will adhere better than that

Won't acetone eat the vinyl and the paint's finish?

What about the manufacturer? Can't we get the adhesive they used to adhere the badges at the factory?

For the dash, try cleaning both surfaces, then adhering them with lexel caulking. It's clear, and will come right off as a bead if you decide to remove it later. Comes in a small squeeze tube also

For the emblem, I usually just use super glue. But if you want to remove it, it might be a pain in the ass.

I like your idea of the caulk bead.

The less damage the better.

Why? You have an Acura, be proud of it. It's similar to someone with a Lexus wanting to replace their badges with Toyota emblems...
