Default 2.5 inch front Lift for Ford..... need help....

I've ordered a 2.5 in front body lift for my 06 F150. I'm putting 33's on it and I want to do the install myself of the lift. Has anyone ever done this themselves and if so, is it too hard to do myself. the kit says I only need a floor jack, jack stands and some basic tools.

Thanks for the advice in advance

Depends which model you have. The daystar ones we sell at the shop require a front strut compression tool (coil spring compressor). If you have one that bolts on top of the factory front strut, its peanuts.

Well it says that no compressor tool is required, so i'm guessing it should be the easier one.

I did a body lift on my truck in a shop with a lift. I will never do one in my driveway.

Its not a body lift. Depends on what kit, daystar you will need spring compressors.

It's more like a leveling kit, Jason. Pat that used to work at Papa John's put one on the front of his 06 F-150.
