Beware Shawn Stewart
Hey guys , Im having a problem with a local punk kid that I feel needs to be addressed. Some time this past fall I purchased a car from a guy( Matt Berry) who lived in Williamsburg , it was agreed to that I give him $ 800.00 up front and the balance when I picked up the car . The guy told me not to worry about picking it up right away , that it was in no way a bother to leave it where it sat ( on a trailer with a car cover covering it . I told him I was hoping to finish a convertible project I was working on and then pick it up .He stated that would be fine , I gave him my phone # and the deal was done . I also know a few of his friends , so getting a hold of me should have been no problem. Now most local 7 owners know one another and usually do anything to help other 7 owners and this has been the case with Shawn Stewart . I have done many things in the past 2-3 yrs to help Shawn out . I gave him a brand new set of oil seals , water jacket seals , fuel injectors and other accessories , in exchange he was suppose to help me complete my convertible project ( which is still not done ) .I lent him a $ 800.00 racing beat exhaust system which I had to pick up before he sold it . I gave him several pieces of engine parts that he powder coated over at my house at no charge , he was suppose to bring the replacement parts, but that hasn’t happened either .Other people ( who don’t wish to be named) have done tons of favors for him , in exchange he cuts their grass ,weed eats the yard , and does what ever shitty jobs need to be done . He has come over in the past and helped out with many projects as we have all done in the past over at other peoples houses , he was always welcome and this is why I was floored to hear that this “ good friend “ was really a PIECE OF SHIT . I found out this week that Shawn had run into Matt and told Matt that I was not interested in the car and was going to ask for a refund . This was a flat out LIE . Shawn went out of his way to hide facts to me and others friends here in our little group. After I found out about this I went over to Matt’s house to get my $ 800.00 ( which was returned )and he told me what was said and what happened . Shawn knew I had bought this car from Matt and had plans for the car . I then went to Shawn’s work place to pick up my exhaust , and asked his to come out side and explain himself . I mentioned to him how shitty this was and told him to step up and do the right thing . I asked him to give the car back to me and I would return the $ 1500.00 . He admitted that it was a crappy thing to do , but “snooze you loose” he had gotten the car running already and had already put the title in his name . I even offered him some additional money back for this , but he still would not step up and do the right thing. This PUNK ASS KID will one day have to act like a MAN . There is nothing I can legally do , but I can promise you guys this is not the end of this . I also need to point out that I am missing a few parts that have never shown back up along with a few tools . I just want to point out to the rest of the members that if this “ friend “ would do this to me and lie to others . He is what he is “ A broke PIECE OF SHIT “ DON’T TRUST THIS GUY . He will steal and lie to you too .
