heres a pickle....I got a harness but the alternator plug doesnt fit in the alternator, so i got one that fits my alternator(found 1 that a friend gave me) so now i need to know wat colors from harness goes to the alternator plug(different colors)

HARNESS COLORS

white w/blue stripe
black w/yellow stripe
white w/yellow stripe
blue

PLUG COLORS

white w/ blue
white w/red
black w/yellow
white w/green

*need to know wat color goes were*

Try giving some more info, like what kind of car it is, what the harness is from, obd0, 1, or 2. Sounds like you have the wrong altinator to me. If you have an obd1 car, you should be using an obd 1 harness and obd 1 altinator and everything should plug right up.

 

well somethings wrong eg hatch obd1 b16a

 

match blk/yellow

and match white/blu

your solid colored yellow or blue wire goes to the white with red

your yellow/white goes to white/green

 

match the LETTERS up on the sticker located on both alternator
