Default clutch question guys for boostin

How can you tell if a car has an aftermarket stage # CLUTCH, would the pedal feel different or would it still feel the same..I have a 97 integra ls,and IM not sure if it has an aftermarket or stock clutch. is the only way to find out is to remove the Trans. casing and check it out....what u guys think thanks? and oh yeah if i do find out that I still have stock which one would you prefer XTD or Gripforce F1

XTD and Gripforce are both ebay brand clutches, dont get either one. I put a gripforce clutch in my stock sohc just to get me by and hated it. my friend has a XTD in his ITR and the clutch is shit already and only has about 3000 miles on it. If your gonna get a clutch, spend the money and get a decent clutch.

Your friend doesnt know how to drive then. I put an XTD clutch in the weekend I got my Integra(year and a couple of months ago) and to my knowledge its still running the same clutch.

Its the same with anything you buy for your car. It will take care of you if you take care of it. I had the XTD clutch on my LS-T setup and I broke it in properly and changed the tranny fluid regularly and the clutch gave me no problems. I later upgraded to a LS/VTEC setup putting down between 285-300whp and launched numerous times on slicks at the track and it still gave me no problems.

I ma go look up XTD clutches for my ls-t setup as well, maybe a stage 3 with 6 puck .....does your pedal feel stiff or still have the stock kinda feel to it
