DTP is installing my supercharger this coming Monday and I need to find a good Transmission shop that has experience with GM transmissions, namely the the 4L60/4L65-E 4spd automatic...

I have a Transgo shift kit, hardened separator plate, new billet 2nd and 4th servos, a metal accumulator piston, kevlar 2-4 band and FLT 3-4 race clutches I want to get installed in my 4L65-E tranny so that it can better hold the added power of the supercharger.

Anyone know of a place in the Hampton Roads area?

what stall converter are you going to use?

 

I'm most likely going to go with a TrailBlazer converter as they are an inexpensive TC upgrade that flash at between 2400 and 2800 depending on overall weight. But that's going to come later as I still have to buy an upgraded transmission fluid cooler to support the TC upgrade...

Dynotech Transmissions in MD would get my vote.

 

Transmission Masters on Newtown road gets my vote. They fixed my stupid AX4S up good and were very quick about it. Not the cheapest (not expensive, just not "are they for real?" cheap), but very good service and a good warranty to boot. I haven't had one problem with my SHO tranny since then.
