If a guy told me and a bunch of people to line up and had guns... I'd like to think I wouldn't kneel down and take it. I don't see why people didn't rush him... maybe shock. But why stand there and let someone kill you.

 

One students video report was he walked in, fired a clip and left. They then barricaded the doors and he came back and tried to get in so shot through the door, but couldn't get in. On liveleak.com video.

It's always different when it actually happens. Instincts kick in immediately and something else takes over and you can't control the situation. People think they'll react one way, but it's usually not so easy. Sucks.

 

Could be that they thought it wasn't real. Or that the guy was joking, or that he wasn't really going to shoot them.

Like I said earlier, I'd like to think I'd do something, but until I'm in a situation like that I have no idea how I'll react. I hope I never know.

 

from the vid i saw, the asian guy basically stormed in a classrom and without saying a word just unloaded completely on students

id expect that the kids tried to hide or run, or maybe even rush him but realistically when you have two pistols, it woulndt be hard to take your pick at who to shoot. he also said it was random shootings in no order

 

i doubt he was firing with 2 pistols at once

 

That's speculation, don't know exactly what happen yet.

But yes, if that was the case, I'd do everything in my power to not just kneel down and get shot. Especially if he just went down the line shooting people, I can't believe they would just stand/kneel there and let it happen.

 

One report said he chained the doors so students had to escape through the windows so it was definately premeditated...the guy was planning this for awhile now. They're also saying people are posting on Myspace and Facebook. Thanks for the thread for names of people who are OK.
