Custom Car Care, Yorktown
Re: Custom Car Care, Yorktown
Few years ago I stopped in to ask how much to lower my 2002 Altima...wanting an eibach prokit drop. For parts and labor total was going to be $700 plus tax.
After I finished crapping myself, I asked how much if I got the springs elsewhere and had them install? They told me they don't do it like that.
So I said fukk em...went and bought the springs and had an experienced buddy help me out.

As for CCC, Brady and Crew are super knowledgable, have their stuff together, and a really good group of helpful people. I have dealt with them a few times, and they have always been fair. Remember, they are a real shop, not some fly-by-night shop that pop up and disappear every year, in this area of VA. They all have some real race experience behind them too, and I dont mean auto-x.

$700 seems about right for it to be done correctly. As for CCC, Brady and Crew are super knowledgable, have their stuff together, and a really good group of helpful people. vouch for a good experience with brady and the guys @ ccc. my car was tuned there and never had a problem what so ever. he also helped me out when my turbo went out prematurely and diagnosed the problem for free for me so i could send the paperwork to precision.
CCC is a great place, they know their stuff and are very good at what they do, like others said their expensive but it is a real shop who does damn good work and hey, bills and employees dont just pay themselves. So if you dont know what your doing deffinatly go to them. Great shop who does things right!
$200 - Eibach ProKit for a Nissan Altima
$195 - $65/hr Labor for 3 hrs. (how long it took me and my buddy in a garage)
$70 - Alignment at the dealership.
---no camber correction kits required for this drop---
__________
$465.
Give or take about $50...but $200+ dollars more? Nah.
Just my opinion. Either way, I got it done and was satisfied and happy to actually learn how to do it and did it again on my SE-R and a friend's Matrix.
First off, I'm sure they charge more than $70 for an alignment. IIRC, it's more like approx. $130. Second, they may have been charging more for the springs. They have to make a profit on them as well.
All that matters is that you got it done and learned something in the process.

i know brady personally and all of the crew they all are great people all have there specialties. they do charge alot but they do great work if you are a good customer to him he will be a great help to you. i have heard and seen the so called shady work that has come out of the shop but their is more to those issuses then people will admit to becuase they aren't man enough to accept that something else was truely wrong and always want to blame someone else.
