Evo vs. STI
How are 350s classy, when I drove one the first thing that caught my eye is how cheap the plastic interior looked, G35 interior is a different story. The 350z is just not an impressive car.
What are you talking about...I gave you comparison times as well as a link to back my comment up..what have you given me...numbers with ZERO factual basis.
I never said anything about fighting...I just want to see if you have the balls to say it in public. I am giving you an opportunity to save face and meet some and get to know some people before you make any more generalizations. Dont make assumptions about someone's academic achievement before getting to know them...it may come back to bite you in the rear end.
Please enlighten me on the logic you are using.
You quote Crank HP...What are you putting down to the ground? What is your ET and what are you trapping?

Everyone buys a car that suites their personality and the way they are in life. I'm glad EVO's are working out for you guys and they are fast as you want them to be. 350Z on the other hand, suites me the best the way my life is and my personality. A question was asked and an advise was given. No one forced anyone to like the advise. We can all argue until tomorrow. I could argue all day long that 350z is better. You guys can argue otherwise. At the end of the night, ill go to bed happier knowing why I got my 350z after trying to convince you guys. You guys will go to bed liking your evos more having argued the best parts of it.
So there is no need to argue, I would suggest my car to this friend of ours who asked and I'm sure you guys would advertise yours. If it wasn't for the choices we are given on daily bases and our lifes, our lives would be extremly boring. Imagin if everyone drove 350z, or evos, or stis. How boring would that be. But since we are human and we are all different, having options is what makes us apart.
I like the 350Z for it's speed, it's proven performance to me, the way it looks and the attention it gets. I've got billions of compliments over the 2 years I've owned this car. From the gas station guy who said, "are these the new porches" to the middle school kids taking pictures of my car from their bus windows and above and beyond the many people who have given me thumbs up on the road. It' simply a package I was looking for. I love it and if I were to get it, I would do it all over again. I've had many cars from the past, only a few of my favorites to name on my sig. When comparing the cars for my new purchase back 2 years ago, 350z stood out the finest out of all the cars I wanted to buy. I've test driven STIs, Evos, M3s and even the Porsche Caymen. 350Z stood out the best for me just like how you guys probably test drove similar cars and thought wow the evo was the car for you.

2003 Nissan 350z 5.4 14.1 . Now lets look at some weight reduction by year 2004. 2004 Nissan 350Z 5.3 13.77 (M.T. Mar '04) That's an old edition too. The 2006 edition has another 20HP making it 300HP. Now the new 2007 has 306HP and lighter than both editions. So this is why 350Z > EVO. Rest assured, I complete my case. I'm glad you brought it up and I compared it for you like that.

Now all of a sudden, after proving all of you wrong with my facts you are trying to find something else. After I prove that, comes another. Pathetic at it's finest. I told you guys, this will end here. With such crowd, I don't really know If I want to be part of it in any way possible.

Pathetic is a person arguing and holding on to his belief after factual evidence has been revealed and used against him. Pathetic is narrow-minded individual making generalizations, assumptions on people's character, educational background, and "class." Pathetic is someone being called out and refusing to show up...I will retract this statement if you come out and introduce yourself and explain you beliefs in person. This is not a threat or and I PROMISE you no, physical altercation will result...a conversation and exchange of ideas between several people.
In my opinion the 350z is a nice car where the evo and sti are econo cars with a turbo and a boy racer attitude. They are both based on normal economy class cars and have upgraded factory performance. they are both very fast and great handling cars from the factory but they still trace their roots to a car that competes with chevy cobalts and honda civics.
If I was considering a car in the 30k class I would shop the 350z, G35, and s2000 but I wouldn't even consider a sti or evo. I classify the cars like this, the 350z is a poor mans corvette, an s2000 is a poor mans ferrari, the g35 is a poor mans m3 and the sti and evo are a factory "rice rockets". They are fast, they are fun but I don't think they are "nice". If it was my money I would probably get the s2000 since I have other vehicles as daily drivers.
Also for what it's worth Car and Driver did a huge comparison test at VIR and in the under 30k group the 350z came out on top with a lap time 1 second faster than the 2nd place evo MR.
Just my opinion, your mileage may vary.
