I know I am not the only person who gets pissed off every time I see someone who is trying to sell a puppy. More often than not, one that they just bought and realized that they were too irresponsible to take care of. I am also not talking about the sale of puppies from a newborn litter. I really think that live animal sales, other than things like fish, reptiles, and rodents should be banned. They should be adoption only for things like dogs, cats, and large birds.

I know this is not a peta board, but still, it seems like some moron is trying to sell their dog every other day.

 

So can we sell dead animals?

 

Would you rather have them dumped on the side of the road? At least these posters are trying to give them a good home.

 

I agree atleast they are man or woman enough to realize they can't provide what the animal needs and try to sell it to a good home.

 

I have no problem with them admitting they made a mistake and trying to find them a good home. They should have done their research before they bought the animal though, they would have realized they could not take care of it.

I just don't think they should be able to get their money back. I think they should be punished for damaging the animal.

I got a dog from the SPCA that was considered good with cats. She had a cat so we both thought this would be a good dog to get because it was good with cats.

Brought the dog home, sure the dog is good with cats, chasing them. Come to find out the dog was raised to be a hunting dog. Which the SPCA never told us about.

They will tell you anything to get the animals out of the shelter to a home. Or maybe its just the shelter around here.

We ended up finding a really good home for the dog on a farm with lots or acreage and all the squirrels and cats he could chase.

We called the SPCA about the dog they ended up taking the dog back, giving us our money back. I did not want to take the dog back to the shelter because I know if he didn't find a home they would put him down. However another lady there that didn't sell us the dog said her father had a large farm and she would take him there. So I felt it was a good decision to return him to the SPCA because she had a home for him.

Got my money back and ended up bring two puppies home the same breed as the dog we brought back.

People should have the right to find a home for an animal on this site. I have seen ads for animals being given away for free or for money.

If the animal is a pure breed then paying for an animal is no problem. I would pay for a pure breed if I was looking for one. This site should also let people give animals away for free.

People at times run into problems or situations that they need to give their animal away to better homes. If this site gives the owner a better chance of finding a good home for the animal (a ad on the internet will let more people know about the animal then by posting postures on neighborhood light poles) then banning ads for animals is retarded.

 

yea lets make it harder for those animals to make to the right home.. yea smart. i got my dog who i take great care of from an add in the internet posted by someone who could not handle him. if crybabies had their way and prevented it hes prolly have been put down by now.
