Thinking about trading the VR-4 in....
You're 21 and all about the now! I don't expect you to understand how you would feel 20 years from now. However , I do feel there are quite a few here that have already been there and regreted it.
And I never said it was a 100% fact. People are different. and this is my opinion based off of others I see daily, as well as my own.
As far as never seeing a 3000gt...don't hold your breath...

Wouldn't it be nice to have a house....with a garage "of course"......and be able to open up the garage doors and say..."I built that bitch right thur", haha.
I sold my FD to buy a house and a family car..........I am still pissed and that was 5 years ago.

House > Car
Buy the house.... get a roomate or two if needed. Have them fork out rent which could cover most of your mortgage. A couple years down the road, refinance if the market is good enough. Open an equity line, use that to pay off existing debt. Write off interest from equity line on taxes. Have a nice house, get out of debt, buy nicer cars....
I bought my house with my wife last march (I'm 22) and it was the best decision I have ever been involved with. Honestly, if it wasn't for our house, I don't know if I would own the cars I drive.

It was never sold as a plymouth, just the mitsu 3000gt and dodge stealth on the same platform. Also, I don't know what you mean by failed but the 3000gt did outlast the RX-7, Supra, and 300zx in the US. I will agree no one really cared aftermarket wise for awhile.
As far as seeing a 3000gt at barret jackson...I don't know but I wouldn't be suprised. 98 and 99 vr4's have chance because of there rarity (only 287 99's IIRC and even less 98's) as well as the 95 and 96 spyders.
Didnt it get sold as the Plymouth Laser for awhile? I may be wrong. By failed I meant very low sales numbers. They were never a really popular car. I think in over all terms of time, both the supra and rx7 were around longer.
