i'de love to go. does anyone have a date in mind already?

 

if my truck is fixed well enough ill be down and so will a friend of mine

 

I am not sure on the dates. If we do GWNF i would want "cootees" to go, since he knows the trails and where to camp.

I am hoping for the last weekend in august, maybe first weekend in sept?

Any thoughts?

 

I'll try to be there one way or another. I'm shooting to do my sas around august sometime so that may keep me from bringing the 4runner out but if worst comes I am sure I can find someone to ride a long with.

I'll definately push for my runner to be done by then though.. she has been parked almost since I got back from the last trip up there where I snapped an axle and broke my ring gear in the 3rd.

I've got an e-locker on the way to me at the moment so I would love to try out dictums again with the rear locker and sas done.

 

well if i had or got a dana 60 I would be up for the haul because the 44 just don't hold up . .would be changing axles every mile . . lol . . but from what i heard I would get bored up there fairly quickly . .

 

even you might get surprised by one of the mud holes. You locked front and rear?

 

I am from very familiar with GWNF. I live in the area I would be down for any dates really. I can show you guys some nice trails, do some camping and just have a good time. If we can choose a weekend that some of my friends don't work I can get a few rigs to go to. I know most trails but they always surprise me with new trials.

Most of the trails at GWNF are for smaller vehicles like Jeeps, but I do see more and more full size rigs up there with some holes that keep getting dug out.
I just have a little old Jeep on 33's but I still go out and have fun but I don't try to break stuff.

Last time I went out I broke a shock but that was a five minute fix with a new shock.

My hubs and a couple seals are going bad to so riding easy is in the best interest. But I can take anyone anywhere they want to go to find some nice spots up in this area.

nope . . but she does pretty good . . thinking about welding the rear . . got a pretty good posi in the front and usually pulls all 4's anyhow. .. .. haven't been anywhere the I didn't make it and someone with same kinda truck did that was locked front and rear . . and it would suck to go all the way up there for one mud hole . . lol . . .
also I'm not afraid to go down ya'll jeep trails and make em a little wider
