Hey whats going on my name is Matt I'm currently living in the Newport News area. I'm moving out to the 540 within the next two weeks. I just want to get in idea of what there is to do regarding the outdoor rec and also the night life. Location on these place would be great considering I wont no where anything is......thanks

 

As far as outdoor rec there is a little of everything... tons of hiking trails, a little bit of climbing and spelunking. A little bit of everything to be honest.

Which area are you moving to?

 

Best thing to do is go snipe hunting at night. I would be glad to take you on a hunt. It is exciting.

 

I am also a very good snipe hunter myself, let me know when this is going down...

 

Bas area to move too. Only thing I like about this area is the view. But then it could be this stupid little town I live in.

cry me a river. you dont know shit about being in a shitty town. move to henry county or maybe even bassett. pulaski is king shit compared to them.

I kinda like the Roanoke area. Not so large as to have horrible traffic (still bad in some places at peak times), but not so small either, there is enough to do if you are creative and have hobbies.

Another thing i really like is that there are tons of rural areas around that are 15 minutes away from downtown basically..

I have no plans to move, I've been all up and down the east coast.

 

I live in a town with no stop lights.

you live in A-Town? as in Amherst? or a town...lol..but yeah i hope hes not moving to the bedford part of 540....atleast not in the BFE part...sucks there...cousin lives there...nothing but trees, and woods, and trees and dirt and plants and animals. fuck that. lol, then again i live in Lynchburg....sucks ass here to.
