jet skiing any one?
Paying to launch depends on where you go. We just go to Rudee Inlet, at the oceanfront at the municipal ramp. its free. there are some u have to pay for, we just don't go to those. Gas mileage is descent the only bad thing Ive notice is since they changed to this ethanol shit, we have to run premium in them. If not, they lag when you floor them. other than that, they aren't that bad.
well, if I can remember, you can go about 2 hours max on a tank, and thats at full thottle the whole time. and im thinking its at 8 gal tank, but Im not sure. about $30 to fill up each one. that gets us through the hour and a half that we ride it on one trip. I guess I can say its about the same to fill a car

my 2 97 seadoos both have 15 gallon tanks and i can run all day long and still have fuel left. as far as oil goes...i only have to put oil in it maybe 1 time out of 4 -5 times i go out. we are talking about 2 stroke here.
man...yours must be real bad on fuel. and you have a very small tank

well Im not sure of the size of the tank. But I do have an example... my dad and I went from owls creek (rudee inlet) to chicks beach, and back, on a half tank for both of us. Mine is a 650, his is an 1100. The tanks may be bigger than I guessed, im not sure. yea they don't use much oil. Our 1100 uses more than the 650, but not much at all.
its not as bad as you think. you just have to make sure that the ski you get is well maintained. alot of hours on it are not a big concern. if the ski was ridden regularly and flushed after each use and winterized each year then you should be fine. just because a ski runs good on the trailer does not mean that it will run good in the water. ask alot of questions when you do buy one. if you are unsure of a ski i may be able to take a look at it for you. if you dont mind me asking......how much are you looking to spend on a ski?
