New Driving Penalties effective: july 1st
Laws aren't supposed to be made to define peoples morals but to protect the rights of others.
never seen anything less than 15mph posted on a public acess road. anything else is private property. and people speeding in parking lots is a dipshit move anyways.
As far as the whole gay guys making out, or porn. if i wanna watch porn i won't do it in public. If there happen to be two guys kissing so what. Now if it's gay porn refer to previous statement. No one is going to take offense in two women making out, and saying that two guys doing the same is different is just well... you know.

No, I just think it should be fair.
I don't think it is a crime to be gay.
My problem is the Bible pushers that make the rules and look over something very clear and descriptive in the holy book they hold so dear.
How can people say they lead their life and spread teachings of the Bible while picking and choosing what to follow or mention.
It should be an all or nothing concept. Much like the laws imposing these civil penalties. We the people can't pick and choose which codes to follow. The rules are put before us and we have the right to choose to follow or pay the penalty.
Do I agree with these laws, no I do not.
I can only pray fire and brimstone to fall upon the hypocrites that created and enforce them.

the roads in the complex are maintained by the complex and therefor is not a public road. it's private property. never seen anyone pulled over in an apt. complex that wasn't doing anything else stupid to get pulled over in the first place.

Simple reason for all of this...
As it states it is to raise revenue. They don't want to raise taxes because they will get voted out. So they make these outrageous fines that 75% of the population will get hit with and make their money.
VA may be better than some places but I would hardly call it "car friendly." I don't have an annoying and useless exhaust system, I don't have unsightly body mods and I don't have dangerously bright lights.
I agree with fines for dangerous/poorly done mods and REAL reckless driving but speed does not mean reckless. Speed is a factor in a lot of accidents but it is merely a factor. Accidents INVOLVING speed are often resulting from people going fast then recklessly changing lanes, passing or failing to be ready to slow down for traffic. This is because we hand out licenses like candy and don't have proper defensive driving courses. I think there should be a bi-annual defensive driving course that everyone must complete in order to maintain the privilege of driving. If this were the case we could raise speed limits and would not have to expand the roads. Which would allow us to keep a reasonable budget, maintain our current roads and put more police to keeping down crime and less wasted time enforcing useless traffic laws.
I am probably going to take some flack for my statements but I don't care.
