Well, looks like I'll be doing more running from the cops. I'm not getting a felony because I'm driving like a jackass on a highway at 3am with all of 2 other cars in a mile long stretch.

You get out of jail and 5 years later they say you have to pay 10,000 dollars plus another $1,000 for every year you were in jail.

Your debt to society had too already been paid. It is unethical to punish you again for a past crime. There is no argument to be made on this. It is just WRONG!!!

Not really. One reckless charge and another simple ticket, bam, eight points. Yes you paid fines/charges for those tickets and now you're paying additional fines for being a dumbass that can't obey simple traffic laws. What "debt to society" did you pay for getting traffic tickets?

And you're right, there is no arguement to be made on this because you are wrong.

Yeah, cause that makes much more sense than not driving like a jackass to begin with.

Oh well. I drive fast, especially when I see a long open stretch of road. I'm not going to get a felony because i'm cruising at 90 to get home when noone else is on the road except for me, so if it comes down to it, they're going to have to catch me. I dont like running from the cops, but i'll be damned if i'm going to get a felony for some bullshit like that.

You making bullshit scernarios is irrelevant, as proved my by point.

You don't have a point. All you asked is to show some numbers which I don't have. Do you? What would it prove to show that I or someone I know got ticketed one time or five times for failure to use turn signals?

You can think whatever that makes you happy but my "bullshit" scenario is stated by me saying it's "possible". Saying it's bullshit is like saying it will never happen or never happaned and I don't have traffic statistics but if you do, please share. If you don't have stats to backup your statement then STFU. =]

Are you familiar with double jeopardy? You cannot be charged for the same exact crime twice. This is the same thing.

The debt to society was your original fine.

So when they do catch you and you get felony eluding, felony reckless, felony whatever the hell else they charge you with, that's definitely WAY better than just not speeding to begin with and even just pulling over and maybe not getting a ticket at all.

That's great logic, let me know how that goes for you.

I do have a point, and its a great one. No one gets pulled or gets tickets for that, unless you got pulled for something else and were a complete dick to the cop. Since people don't get pulled/ticketed for that, you won't have to worry about paying any fines. And even if someone that got ticketed 5 times, how many people drive on the roads everyday that don't get a ticket? The odds of you getting pulled, getting a ticket, and being convicted of that are about as good as the odds you'll win the Powerball jackpot. Anyone of us having sex with Jessica Biel is possible, but let me know when that happens.

I'm very familar with double jeopardy, but apparently you are not. You aren't being charged with the same crime twice, you are being given a fine for the charges you were charged with. There is no additional crime so there is no additional charge so there is no double jeopardy, but thanks for playing.

And in addition to your original fine, you'll have some more to continue paying your debt to society.

i our so sorre i misspelld a word. i be must super stupid meow

Again, I would like to know where you get your statistics from. Your reference to Jessica Biel sounds like a personal problem.
