ford SHO issues please help
dont get me wrong....but how can you have 11 years experience in the auto field? unless you count back till you were 10? i've been working on cars since i was 9, but i dont consider my career starting till i was about 16, when i was doing it for a living.
is that a ASE CMAT or a dealer level master tech status?
one reason i never went to work for any dealership, mainly due to the fact that you dont get to have an interaction with your customer. of course....that can be a good thing sometimes!!
pm me me your area you want to work at where you live, and i will get in touch with some friends of mine up there and see if any of them are wanting to hire. believe me, go indy and you wont regret it!
on an EECIII system? rarely. it MAY show up when running a KOEO test if its out of specs at that time, but its kind of rare to be able to catch one at that time when running the test. but like i said before, there are a lot of techs that dont know how to run most of the tests their tools are capable of.

that wont change
im a master ASE tech with the L1 certification as well, and have over 60 Mercedes-Benz credits/"certs". all kinds of experience from engine jobs, tranny jobs, rear ends, full body harnesses, sub frame jobs, electrical gremlins, etc etc. when you sign the paperwork at the dealership, you are signing up to sit at the bottom of the hill. im sure you know which way the shit rolls too.

No shit. i had a damn nice sign made up to go outside to advertise our AC work, and have not put it out yet because i have a one week backlog on AC checks! just checks! i have installed 9 compressors and 4 evap. cores this month alone!
A/C work is nice and easy. Except that half of them end up being "My AC doesn't cool to 50 when it's 100 degrees outside!" or "I don't know how to use recirc!"
most of the time. try going after someone that had no fucking clue on how a system works. i now know exactly what to look for when some fucktard at a body shop installed an orifice tube on top of another one

or reversing the lines to the condenser. there are plenty of gravy ones out there, but we seem to get the really fucked up ones lately! more evap cores and blend door failures (not on a ford....never seen that
)
