So how did the manifold get warped? That's pretty extreme. Borrow a precision straight edge from someone and check the flange for flatness. If it's not flat, get it surfaced at a machine shop. Something very interesting must have happened to that at one time or another, and I shudder to think what it must have been..

no idea, i just bought this motor not to long ago and am running into 6013240238490 problems with it
